psu_Crash
Is it leaking at the barb on the intake manifold? Maybe it's not sealed up tight. Make sure it's not leaking from the heater core fitting on the fire wall too. Those connections are often times in rough shape and don't like to seal up. scott87star
If you mean the upper radiator hose, yes, the thermostat housings crack when overtightened.

ucw458
I have seen a cracked stock intake leaking coolant. Rare but does happen. Though most likely the hose barb is rusty.
techboy
I'm guessing if it is the barb he's still gonna need a new manifold though correct? Can you get new barbs pressed in? Never heard of that being done before.

techboy
I was picturing the barb on the back of the manifold near the firewall that goes to the heatercore. If I'm not mistaken, that's not a threaded barb ... then again maybe I'm confusing it with the manifold on my Eclipse. It gets though to keep 2 motors straight in your head sometimes .... ucw458
If it's the barb on top with 2 hose connections that's leaking, it's part # MD020630. It looks like it's still available online. http://www.factorychryslerparts.com/products/DODGE/CONNECTOR--JOINT--JOINT--Vacuum-Connector--JOINT--Water-Line/4553064/MD020630.html
