ucw458 Posted February 19, 2012 Report Share Posted February 19, 2012 Is that hoist attached to the engine and lifting the car, by the cylinder head or is the engine out? Can't tell from pic? Thanks man, but that's the original color. Unless your monitor is calibrated it's hard to say how your settings are making it look. It's San Marino yellow, and it was painted like 10 years ago. The paint is less perfect than I'd like it to be, but it's holding up well. About 3 years ago I had the car back in PA where it was originally painted so I drove it back to the shop to show them how well it had held up. I had them spray a header panel and a spoiler section for me as well. They actually screwed up the color match, but I let it slide. I think most of the original yellow cars are pretty well faded by now. Mine gets a lot of garage time now, but spent its first 5 or so years after the paint job living outside. I've been impressed with the paint, but I also paid through the nose for the work, nearly $4k iirc. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
