Huntsville AL Meet Pics

The day started slow with a lot of rain. Everyone showed up by three though, some with some travel delys due to wrecks on the highway.

 

In attendence are 87Quest-tsi, nomad, Alan, pure_insanity, Intercooled flatty, Couth, Zack Morris, dem0n_tsi, Sellerfeller, Natedog (with 79 colt)and a friend of zack morris whose name I cannot recall.

 

So far the D2's are installed on the front of dem0tsi's car and the welding has been completed on sellerfeller's car. We will install the rest of the D2's on both cars tomorrow.

 

Although it would have been perfect for a bonfire with the rain early in the day, we ran out of time for that due to the late arrival of the two cars getting D2's

Nice get together Lee and Dave worked their azzzz off while a few of us drank Abitas Funny thought, there are less than 160 89 Starions in the US and we had TWO at this meet, but it gets better, DemonTSI's 89 Starion turns out to be a T80 car here's the proof

That's one of ours. I'll check it when he gets home. It's still on, but its wired up to a switch so it isn't working at this moment.

Little metal switch on the right side. You have to turn that switch on to get the ac to work. That should be the coldest damned ac ever in a quest.

 

Ahh, that was actually a very good quest. I shouldn't have sold it.

And after church I nearly lost my car due to two nuts that suddenly vibrated loose on the FPR and the cascade of fuel that resulted. I'm pretty lucky that it happened as I got close to home.

That is the original paint code. T80= Baltic Blue, a rare color that alot of people like.

i had a great time meeting everyone. i was most pleased with the ride over and back, nice easy drive and my mpi car did great. i was sketchy about it as this is its first real trip anywherew and after all the trouble its gave me, im very pleased to say its starting to gain a little trust. it was really nice to see all of you guys and meet the new guys. alan, hope your gonna come around more, your one of us now. and dave, your still on the s**** list but i might let you off of it something in the near future. also a really big thanks to lee for fixing harry and i up with a room, and to dave for putting up with us. hope to see you all again soon.
