i would be interested in one, i would love to have one like the SFP header that used to be made for our cars. its not equal length but the runner are pointed up so they all push the air upwards and dont butt crosswinds like a log mani does.

as far as price, you know the cheaper the better. but we also dont want another header cracking epidemic  i think the above head would require less material and way less weld time then a equal lentgh so i would hope that would help keep costs down.

i would love to see about a $400 price tag if possible. there are already $600 and $800 dollar headers avalible

I'd do one up and post some pics, then go from there.

What style header? Log, equal length, etc...

What material type?

Wastegate type?

EDIT:

$400ish would be perfect.

If you can keep it under $500 shipped that would be awesome and I think you would sell them. Over $500 and you probably won't sell many. Not that they aren't worth that price, it's just what you can expect people to pay.

I think as you get into that higher price range not only do your potential sales go down, but those that are left that would spend that kind of money tend to go with a local fabricator where they can track the progress of the purchase and talk face-to-face with the dude building it.

I might be interested...you should definitely built one first and post some pics...the 200-300 range is about right...keep it simple, functional, and affordable and you'll have a market for them...

  • 2 weeks later...
I'll be in the market for stock flanged one. Have Marnel Head. Just got a 19c from board member MI_Mitsu. can't see limiting it with a stock manifold. Guy in my local car club has a CNC plasma cutter. Guess bending the tubes is the art part.

Since I am actually going to be purchasing a t3/t4 off a friend of mine for a KILLER price, I was actually tring to figure out who/where to get a manifold since the turbo is externally gated. Id pay around 400$. What are you using, can you make em both externally gated and not? I am def interested to see what you come up with. A nice ss equal length would be nice!

er, um, I mean around 50-100$ would be perfect :P
