polarisman14
Here's a picture of the turbo attached to the stock manifold. Identifiers on the compressor housing are numbers 05-1 and S 49178-017 0 and on the turbine housing the numbers say D80, D2, and 13310 to the right of the Mitsubishi symbol. Is this a 16g, or was I lied to in the buying process? Either way it's for sale, but if it's a 12a I'm aware that it's worth a bit less. http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t324/polarisman14/For%20Sale%20Items/0727101803a.jpg
freebird
got a pic of the comppressor wheel?thats another way to tell what it is.6 big blades with curved smaller blades is what the 16g has i believe.
polarisman14
^^That is exactly what it has. Provided that information is correct, then this is indeed a 16g! Thanks!

lester
Interested in the modded 1G MAS with K&N filter. How much is the shipping to OR97220? How about to Singapore direct? Thanks.
polarisman14
If by OR97220 you mean portland, oregon then the shipping will be 10-15 bucks. Shipping to singapore will probably be a lot more than that, in the 40-50 dollar range I would think. I'll take a couple pictures of it so that you can verify it's a 1g MAS before you buy it--any specific identifiers you want me to snap? polarisman14
Here you go. Not sure if anything was hacked at all, doesn't look it. The reason why I asked for help identifying this and the turbo is because the person who said it had a 16g turbo and a 1g MAS was the same person who did an illegal VIN swap on the car and caused the previous owner to lose it to a NY state impound lot for 7 months. Kinda skeptical about the MAS as the turbo was confirmed as a 14g--still better than the 12a but not what was advertised and sold to me. Anyway, here are the pics. If you need more, let me know. http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t324/polarisman14/For%20Sale%20Items/DSCN0370.jpg http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t324/polarisman14/For%20Sale%20Items/DSCN0368.jpg http://i512.photobucket.com/albums/t324/polarisman14/For%20Sale%20Items/DSCN0371.jpg Also, the stock rubber inlet hose is for sale for $50. No cracks, tears, etc.
87B71Brad
I'm pretty sure that the only way to get the exact size of that turbo is to measure the compressor wheel itself. If the compressor side is honed-bored out and has a step-down to the wheel than its not a 12a and has a bigger compressor wheel in it. But a the same time it could be a 14g-16g-18g. You can order the the compressor wheels in all the same style thru them sizes. so style of blades cannot determine the size. Just some info for ya. lester
Is the pigtail end of the harness that connects to the connector still intact?
polarisman14
Brad, On *DM I think we identified that it was a Forced Performance 14g turbo. I have someone lined up to buy it over there but if it doesn't sell there then it's still up for grabs. It's a nice piece for sure, no shaft play whatsoever and the price new is about three times what I'm selling it for.
Edde
If this turbo is available and is actually a good 14g I would be interested.
polarisman14
^^Sorry man. Turbo and one manifold have been sold and shipped. The other manifold also has no cracks and is in good condition, comes with all 4 studs, nuts, etc. Please check the original post for updates under the "new additions" list...Pictures to new additions are below. It's a nice piece for sure, no shaft play whatsoever and the price new is about three times what I'm selling it for. Looks like a 14, has no step down but been enlarged. Sorry not tryin to inpose on your sellin. Accually I wish I woulda bought it from ya. I payed for a 16g last tuesday and still havn't heard no word about when it was shipped and no trackin number or anything about my purchase from the seller. polarisman14
^^That blows. My work schedule allows me to get all 40 hours in by noon Thursday so typically if someone pays for something before then it ships at the end of the week. Lester, the factory MAS harness doesn't appear to be hacked but all of the wiring leading up to it is wrapped up in electrical tape so maybe they just cut off and spliced in a 1g harness? I don't know what goes into doing that swap so I don't really know what to look for. Either way the MAS is in very good shape.
polarisman14
Pictures of the seats, in great condition--the places that have pushed in areas are just from them sitting on top of one another. Alsandr
Are you willing to part with a stock primary injector by itself?
polarisman14
Sorry about the lack of reply. The stock injectors are pretty difficult to get out of the manifold but I'll see if I can do that. Bump it up, still stuff for sale!
lester
Bump it up! Make offers folks, need this stuff GONE! Have you managed to get a USPS postage quote for the 1G MAS to Singapore? Is the pigtail end of the harness that connects to the connector still intact? Still waiting for your reply. Thanks.
polarisman14
^^The pigtail is still intact and it doesn't look like the harness itself has been hacked at all. There is electrical tape wrapped up the wires leading to the harness though so it may have just been spliced in or something. Shipping is going to be 40-50 bucks for this part. Let me know if you're still interested.
