  1. It's that time of the year to clear out stuff before Chinese New Year. The bunch of Starion stuff that I'm gonna throw out are still here. Wife gave the ultimatum. They fill a 25kg Jumbo box. The catch is I am in Singapore (This is in South East Asia) and shipping to you in the US is probably gonna cost. Nothing was sent out the last time cos everyone found shipping too expensive. If I don't hear from you soon enough, they go to the land fill. I don't log on here often enough. Send me an email lesteryeong@hotmail.com or whatsapp, viber, wechat, tango, line me at +65 9692 2541. Picture link is still correct. http://s1120.photobu... Conquest items Thanks. Regards Lester
  2. I'm putting in another stations engine after blowing out the last one. There's rust in no. 3 chamber. I'm on a really right budget, what should I do? I can't get ajusa or fel-pro head gaskets here in Singapore. Only the carbon/metal gasket for the NA 4G54 engine. Please help. I'm at a lost what to do. Thanks.
  3. What's the crank shaft condition? Has it been turned? Still stock std size? I'm keen on it if it is.

  11. Hello all I have an abundance of Starion parts that I need to get rid off by this weekend. They are going for free and postage is on you from Singapore by Singpost http://www.singpost.com/. I can accept Paypal. It would be great if anyone wants the whole lot and sieve it through what is useful and sell the rest by bits if you have storage space. If anyone has any questions or needs any specific parts badly, please attach picture and zoom in specifically. I will have them answered. Since we are on different parts of the world, expect 6-8 hours delay. If there are no takers by this weekend, they are going to the junk. Below is the photos of all of the items. I have got 2 more intake manifolds complete that I have not taken any pictures yet. http://s1120.photobucket.com/user/lesteryeong/library/Starion%20Conquest%20items Thanks. Regards Lester
  12. I have 2 almost complete throttle intake manifolds to give away. These are from 2 seperate Starions. One has the higher capacity injectors and the other has stock injectors. The thing is I am located in Singapore and shipping might be high. If anyone is keen, lemme know and you can have them for shipping. Thanks.

  14. Hi all. I have isolated the front pipe and blocked it with a temp sensor from my TBi manifold. On the pipe side, I used a similar sized bolt with a upper section without thread and blocked it. Seems like my overheating woe has gone away. I am reading 187 deg F to 202 deg F max under a hot day of 95 deg F. Will monitor some more. Thank you to those who have made this possible.
  15. The heater core for the aircon has been bypassed. In Singapore, it is hot and wet or hotter and wetter. There is another opening on the underside of the front hose where a two wire water temp sensor is installed but not used. Right now I should isolate the front hose to the rear nipple and that should solve my problems right? The rest of the system is as stock. The only modification done and posed a consistent heating issue was when I changed from TBI to MPI. Radiator cap is new and rated at 1.3kg and coolant is 30% ethylene glycol. What do you guys do to block off the rear nipple? It is very difficult to access the rear nipple now, I might just block it off from the rubber hose from the front. This should work right? Thanks in advance.
  16. Hi there. I have a water channel question for all. Please see the pictures below. The 2 water ports running through the intake manifold, are they connected correctly to the rear metal T piping? I am experiencing a coolant boiling issue whenever I drive the vehicle. The temperature sensor is from the original one on the thermostat housing from the Starion and I am reading it off the F Con Navigator Pro at a temp range of 185 Deg F without the aircon and 212 deg F with the aircon. I can't read the actual reading off the stock cluster gauge of the Pajero as the signal for the thermostat sensor is required by the F Con. When I switch off the vehicle after driving it, the upper radiator hose has coolant boiling going on in it when I feel it by hand. Is this normal? Thanks, http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/20102011650.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/20102011649.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/20102011648.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/21102011652.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/21102011653.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/21102011654.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/21102011655.jpg

  18. Finally, I am set up with HKS F con V Pro, version 3.24 and Navigator Pro. It's been alot of work and the Pajero is currently dynoed at 250bhp at wheel with 33" tires. More to come.
  19. Hi Scott I still have the MS V3.57 with the connection you did up, the mod ignition box, the modified ford valve. Let me know if you have any inquiries for them. I am looking to part them out. Anyway, it turned out to be a simple fix and it's changing a new 0.9 bar radiator cap. Now awaiting the tuner return to work on the lower rpm. It idles rough when cold and rpm signal is tapped only to one of the 2 coil packs. Any idea how can I wire the rpm meter to show the correct rpm? It is fluttering and reading about half of what it should be. Thanks.
  20. Not sure if there are gaps. I tried to change to a 1.3bar cap and it maintained at the 1/2 way point from cold after idling for over 2 hours. Though still hotter than previous 1/4 from cold, at least it is not bubbling. Any reason why the temperature has risen? I am getting a brand new stock 0.9bar to try out later on. I am not comfortable with the higher 1.3bar cap as my radiator hoses are all stock and have not been changed yet.
  21. I'd disabled the heater core and they are not in use. I am just worried that it was reading 1/4 from bottom when stock and now it's reading almost 3/4 from bottom. This tells me it's running hotter and it's not a good sign. Oil temperature is running at about 100 deg C on average without the aircon.
  22. Hi all I have managed to get the Pajero with the Starion engine to start with the MPI installation. I am using a HKS F-CON V Pro V3.2. Still running a little rough. Doing tuning to smooth things out. I will post more details when I am all up and running. One issue I am facing now is the problem of a rising temperature. It goes to about 3/4 from cold and bubbling happens in the coolant reserve tank with the 0.9 bar radiator cap. It was running fine at 1/4 from cold when it was on the stock set up. The only thing that changed was the T joint at the rear of the engine, one end is going to the end of the manifold nearest to the firewall and the other end on the side of the manifold. I am using a Chad modified intake manifold with 1/2 inch spacer. Please see the pics attached. How do I determine where the problem is? Over here in Singapore, the weather is hot and wet, the thermostat is useless and I have removed it. Appreciate any help rendered. Thank you. http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/24112010023.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/24112010025.jpg http://i1120.photobucket.com/albums/l494/lesteryeong/09102010138-1.jpg
  23. I got the following from an evo website for the same injectors. They seem correct. Any comments? 75lbs/hr=748CC/min=780cc. 7V=2550(2.186), 9.4V=1674(1.369), 11.7V=1179(0.895), 14V=932(0.610), 16.4V=742(0.419), 18.6V=588(0.290)
  24. Hello all. I need some help with the Delphi 75lbs/hr injectors that I have. I know they are low resistance types. I need your help to tell me * what is the lag time at 6V, 8V, 10V, 12V and 14V? (Watt/min) * What's 75lbs/hr in cc?
