This is what im end up doing. My cartridge had wear on the hotside where the seal rides. Keeping hot and cold sides factory. If I wanted to change downpipes and all I'd just go with a different already built turbo. This way I can rebuild with a mhi kit if needed. And everything looks stock. And using an EVOlll wheel will spool a bit faster than an 18g and will make almost same power supposedly.

15-40 Rotella here also! But I also run it in everything...lawnmowers...etc. good oil..plus its always on sale

Yeah same here. I daily my quest. In the last yr I've built 3 12a'a due to running them 14psi + on the daily and building from used parts ....lol I've got where it takes a hair over an hour to yank and rebuild, install....prime it and fire it up..haha Only think you really need is some really big internal snap ring pliers. I bought a ratcheting set...small set is also nice.

Thanks for the pictures. You say porting the wastegate bypass? I'll be sure to mention this to Chris also. I've never thought about that. Suppose that makes sense. I know it sounds silly but I wanted to keep everything as OEM looking as I can, so I was hoping using the td06 in this housing wasn't to far fetched. Where it mates the manifold is all ported out already. The factory lip and some more actually.

Thank you. And no sir, they are both 25mm. With quarters rolled and -.06 camber I'm pretty close, but no rub.

I gotcha! I've been needing a good reason to buy a wideband! I've done got a gm maf. Guess I will pick up a translator while I'm at it. What wideband should I buy? And which ones to stay away from? I've heard that some are hard to calibrate and such. Should I use the original o2 bung or weld one in further downstream? Thanks!

http://i1325.photobucket.com/albums/u626/gtxbrad/Mobile%20Uploads/IMAG1619_zpsou9phbpf.jpg Im using the non pillow type tho. So your cut could be smaller to just allow nut to move instead of requiring washer like mine. -
Heck ya guys. Sounds like I'm gonna pull the trigger on this! Thanks a bunch! I'll post pics when he sends some.

That's how mine looked. I took my large carbide burr bit and notched that sucker out. Had to enlarge it big enough to let washers rest on the plate. Im tucking 225/50 now..lol If you want a pic of mine lmk -
I'm getting a turbo built and could use some advice. Talking to Chris Robbins from Turbos R Us. I got a quote to do a EVO 3 16g and leave my hotside stock. $450. I also priced him to machine my hotside out to accept a td06h4 (11 blade) and do the EVO 3 and a td06turbine. He hit me at $675. Has anyone ran the td06 in a machined factory hotside? Will it even work properly? Or should I just stay td05? Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Bought some rear camber plates from Joe. Little mix up with shipping but everything was just as promised. I appreciate doing business with ya. Thanks

Sport interior is a combination of leather and velour. I can send pics via text easier than posting on here. Phototbucket jacked up their app and I don't know how to get my links now. I apologize for the inconvenience. I can send pics to whomever wants them through email or text. I'll be home tonight around 8pm central time to take pictures.

I've got a 89 I'm going to be parting out. It has the red sport interior. Leather/velour or what not. Rear seats top and bottom. Very good condition. Front seats. Drivers will need some foam and recovered. Size of a small football.Passenger has a small split in same spot there closest to windshield. Door panels are in good condition also. So door panels, front and rear seats. I'm asking for $250 obo. I don't really know what to price this at.I know its kinda rare stuff and it will go to waste sitting at my house. I will upload pics when I can figure out this new photobucket app. Or I can email pics.

Mine acts a bit fidgety with the tt injectors also. I usually let my car warm up enough that its not as noticeable. I don't blame you though for running the stockers. Id keep the tt for back ups.

Maybe the silent shaft cover under the intake? It's happened to a friend of mine b4. Wouldnt leak oil until boost.
-
Thanks for the info. I'll have to check them out.
-
Haha, same here...its been on sale for 11.99
-
Why. Sure..if your car is 87-up, one is the primary and one is the secondary. Just like 87 up injectors. Mine have the primary or secondary and the cc's scribe'd into the side of them.

Yeah I guess you got us beat!

Looking for a turbo. Can be in good condition or in need of rebuild. I've got 3 12a's and no machine shop in town will turn the parts so I can build a bigger one. So I need outside help here. I would settle for a machined cartridge and compressor that way I can build one even. Just let me know if you got anything. I would buy one but I'd rather build one that way I would know what I got. Thanks!
