Turborusty
Those stupid L-bodies have got to be one of the most comfortable cars I've ever driven. Even without power seats or a tilt column. Looked nice! Turborusty
jspecgallant
Those stupid L-bodies have got to be one of the most comfortable cars I've ever driven. Even without power seats or a tilt column. Looked nice! The worst L body car was the omni, but i owned 2 of them at one point but they hold a special place also with me and very comfy for a car that small. Found one last week in craiglist for 1500 OBO with 80k miles and it looked new.

My mom bought it new, and I bought it from her with 56k on it. After I got it all looking nice, I rarely drove it since lowered it sucked in the snow, and if it was nice out I was driving my SQ or my bike. Since I had 7 vehicles, it went bye bye and I regret it ever since.... http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10087/DSCF0006~8.JPG Edited March 19, 2010 by Burton

Indiana
I had a 75 Scirocco but I miss an the 84 Audi 4000 I had in the mid 80s but I traded it for my first Conquest back in 88 so I guess it served its purpose. It wouldn't die though and I beat on it quite a bit for almost 4 years.

Guest
Like Burton I got bit by the VW bug. I'll place them in order. 53' VW Bug- all original completely down to the 50's plates. Unfortunately, one day my sister "borrowed" it and let her crack head boyfriend drive it, straight into a POLE!! '84 Jetta DIESEL- awsome car- crazy mileage. '87 Scirocco- fun to drive, A couple of GTI's. The one I miss most, '84 Nissan 200 SX turbo, I was the second owner.

JessN16
I miss my dad's 1970 Corvette Stingray. Hurricane Ivan dropped a garage on it. Fortunately we sold it to a multi-millionaire car collector (not joking) who had it restored and on the show car circuit in less than a month. I would never have been able to fix that car. One I miss the most -- 1990 Ford Taurus SHO. Unbelievably good car. Put together as good or better than any BMW or Mercedes I've ever driven. If I could find it again, I'd buy it back. No telling where it is now. Literally cried the day I sold it, but I had to because the trans was on the verge of melting down and that would have been a $4000 fix. I miss my 75 Bricklin, but I don't miss owning it. Or trying to keep it from leaking. Only other car I sold that I shouldn't have and/or miss terribly was my 88 Jag XJS. It was the last car my dad ever rode in before he passed away. It was a V12 model and surprisingly reliable. I got rid of it when I moved to Tennessee because we couldn't get it smog-legal. If I'd known I would have been back in Alabama less than three years later I would have paid to have it stored somewhere. I don't really miss my first Conquest. Total money pit. But I will miss the two I have for sale right now terribly when they're gone. Jess
vbrad511
1980 Chevy Monza, coupe, not the hatchback. Red oxide primer, an almost bulletproof 4 speed from an early 70's Vega, posi, 66' 327, headers, reasonably quiet exhaust. Total sleeper. I laid waste to MANY Camaros and Mustangs with it. Wish I had that one back.
Kougar
Probably my first quest, '87. I think part of the reason I miss it so much is that it I learned to wrench on that car, and it taught me tons of things about working on cars. When it was broke, I (mostly) learned to fix it. When it ran, I could credit myself (and a lot of SQC online for help!) for fixing it. It was rare, fast (to me), and had my blood, sweat and tears in it. Had a good amount of fun with my '95 Prelude VTEC also. Well...a lot of run until the oil pump went out
FijiPhil
Ive really only ever had starquests, (16 total!) My first driver. 87 siver conquest. I got it stock and unhacked, and put a lot of work into that car. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r80/fijiphil/questpics2010resized.jpg http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r80/fijiphil/009.jpg White 89 conquest. This was overall a really nice car. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r80/fijiphil/150.jpg 89 Fiji SHP sunroof car. I sold it because it needed paint and i couldnt find a shop i trusted and could afford. It had a rebuilt motor and was a really stong runner. Not really sure whatever happened to this one, i sold it to a guy in VA beach, he never gave me all my money and apparently it got stolen from him at some point... http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r80/fijiphil/012.jpg
Alsandr
I miss my 2001 Civic EX... It ran perfectly, the only problem I had was with the struts that I couldn't afford to replace. Lots of good memories in that car... Lots of bad ones too, but plenty more good ones.
