    Sunken float (non SQ)

    vbrad511
    By vbrad511,
The float has sunk on the sender in my Ranger, and I don't want to spend $80 on a new assembly. I'm also nervous about driving it the way it is, but can't be without my work truck, so is there something I can use to seal up the float that'll be stable to the fuel in the tank?

Hate to do it, but I went and let her get hot. May be moving for a job soon, just no time to keep it going. Be great to end up with someone interested in continuing my restoration project. I'm guessing on the price too, $900 too much? Thanks guys, I'll be back in it at some point.   http://tulsa.craigslist.org/cto/5039589523.html
