Well this one has me STUMPED ! my 88 Conquest just wont rev much above idle , i changed the fuel pump with a new Walbro , new filters from tank to throttle body and still the same , no power what so ever ! ive taken great care of this car , seldom drive it and has always been 100% reliable in my years of ownership till now , any input will be greatly recieved , Scotty.

I am installing a TEP downpipe, along with the stock pipe (gutted cat) under the car along with the stock factory muffler. Will the car be any louder? Anyone here run this setup??

Just like the title says, I am hearing a medium pitch whine from rear of between 43-48 MPH in 3rd gear only under acceleration. My only thoughts are the rear end or the fuel pump. Does this sound familiar at all?

I've been a Quest fan since my teens in the early 90's when my best friend was driving his stepmom's red 87 quest. I remember thinking to myself back then that the car was so far ahead of it's time that it was crazy. My group of friends fell in love with the car. But like all stupid teens with a car like that he abused and ultimately destroyed the mint quest by horse shoeing it around a tree doing 80 mph on a winding curvy road racing another local quest....He survived but barely.   But my love
