Bench top power supply for electronics testing.
By ucw458,
For testing components, standalones and other car related stuff you need some way to power them. Most of the time you just need 12v. But sometimes you need 5v. Where do you get 5v? From a computer power supply re-purposed as a bench power supply. I've been using a computer power supply for awhile now but I finally made it permanent and easier to use. Computer PSUs are cheap and easy to find. You can get them from the trash at your local e-waste location. http://i463.photobucket.com/albu

(inner struggle) So whats the call, black and chrome, bare metal chrome, all black, just chrome studs? Any other ideas? http://i177.photobucket.com/albums/w23

While we are on the topic, anyone have any cool mechanic tips or tricks? Like maybe a way to get a tough something or rather off that is stuck, or maybe a tool
