Correct Vacuum advance?

I have another post about my running issues but thought I would make a new post verifying the proper vacuum advance that often seems to be replaced by a non-turbo unit causing issues. I went to rock auto and cross referenced the Mitsu part number with the Intermotor VC269 Valve. Has anyone tried this valve? Is this the correct one? It's made in Japan and seems to be pretty high quality. Numbers on the part, in ink, are 3213 and 44571. I will probably find out this weekend if this is my is

Heat shields

Hey guys, how important are the heat shield on top of the turbo, and to the left of it? A bit of an eyesore, at least to me, but if they really serve a purpose and prevent mt car from catching fire (ok ok maybe not that protective but you get my point) I'm fine with keeping em where they are. Thanks.
(2) TEP 2.5" downpipes for sale, one with extra wideband bung

I have two TEP downpipes for sale. The story is... I got the first downpipe (with extra wideband bung) and after installation thought it sat too close to the bellhousing of the trans. I installed it to the stock exhaust and it worked fine but I was concerned about clearance. I have original motor mounts and it was causing the stock exhaust to make noise on startup and shutdown. I contacted TEP and they said they'd ship me out a replacement with better fitment. Well a month rolls by and
