I have removed the standard Radio and Tape Player and am wanting to install a better on.... at the mo I have Alphine Head Unit JBL 6x9 Speakers Kicker 15" Sub Kicker Amp.   When I go to install the head unit... it turns off... turns on... (between them is about 15-20seconds)?? This has totally baffled me? I have wired up a live feed direct from the battery and it still does it???? Ok, I am going to use a crank trigger which is perfect for cylinder pulse. Now the problem is that I need a reference for cylinder 1. I am also going to use an MSD DIS - 2 (Waste  Spark) so not only do I need a pulse to fire the MSD, but I can just use an induction sensor on #1 plug wire. The Crank trigger will give #1 cylinder 2 times not just once per cycle. So, what are other people using to reference #1?   Steve Gee
