My dad has a bunch of engine parts for AMC 390s, some bored up to 401s. He's been racing his 69 AMX with a clutch LENCO tranny for years...built the car the winter I was born. It runs in the 9s and is a fully tubed out door slammer. See pics in my sig. PICS link.   Anyhow, he seemed to think a 390 would fit in a Starion.
