Got a MAF from my wife's 1997 Tahoe. It started throwing a check engine light after 150K miles, lean misfire, so I replaced the TPS and the MAF. Turns out the MAF had a buildup of crap from the K&N filter on the screen right in front of the two main elements. I think its easy to clean using a fine wire to drive out the buildup, not interested myself but I offer it to any of my starquest friends that might want to use it for a MAF-translator setup.
