Front Seat Bottom Cushion Fix
By nc_beagle,
I've searched here every way I can think of and I can't find the fairly recent post someone made about how they repaired the little "bumps" that appear on the 88/89 front seat bottom cushions. I remember it had something to do with a plastic piece under the cushion that maybe the stitching was attached to.
Can whomever posted it link me to the post?
Thanks!
Mark
Exhaust Options
By nc_beagle,
I tried to post this in the proper section but it won't let me.
I'd like a little quieter exhaust than what came on my car, which appears to be a 3" Magnaflow. What are some good options that are currently available?
A friend said not to go bigger than 2.5" to get sufficient backpressure. Is that correct for these cars?
Thanks,
Mark
Antenna Not Going All The Way Down
By Contsi,
87 Quest
Goes all the way up every time with radio power. On rare occasion it will go all the way down.
It stops at various height on the way down.
Could this be slipping from worn nylon gear therefore no fix or could it be repaired?
Thanks
88 Automatic Transmission

By kev,
Looking to offload my automatic transmission that was original to my 88 conquest. I hate to get rid of any sq parts, but this is taking too much room up in my garage.
It had 98k on it when I removed it. Overdrive band works great (which is the common one to start slipping on these cars). I will say that on very cold days, I noticed some slipping between first and second until the car warmed up.
It is the transmission shown in the auto to manual swap thread here:
