      Hey man. I cant figure out how to reply/post anything so i found a mod to bother, sorry it was you. i got a question about a vacuum hose. plugged it and it solved a pretty heavy sputtering problem. doesnt feel like a legit problem solver though. Any info is helpful. thanks man

      I had a similar problem. Traced it back to a faulty vacuum advance(diaphragm leaked/failed) on my distributor. Follow the vacuum diagram and make sure that you've no leaks and that all hoses are going to the right components. A common problem can be traced back to the throttle body sandwiched gaskets and the butterfly shaft seals leaking. I'd advise rebuilding the throttle body completely and change out the vacuum lines.
