The declining value of the dollar has more to do with our high fuel prices than anything. Until the economy turns around it'll probably just keep getting worse. Get used to it or make adjustments as necessary, because changes won't happen probably for years.

my old stock aircan was all hacked up. I threw it away. The accordian hose will fit your 87 just fine. I think there might be an extra hole you'd have to plug, but no big deal.

MAS/filter sold. 8) Rubber intake boot still for sale. If yours is cracked around the turbo inlet you are sucking in unmetered air. This is bad!

A little dusty---been sitting in the garage for about a year. That piece on the filter hanging down in case you're wondering is a gasket for if you used the 1G air can. I don't have the can. Unhacked MAS (never even adjusted the screw) with lid. Plug socket has been modified to accept your starquest plug. Comes with lid and K&N filter that could use a good cleaning. $50+shipping. I also have a good accordian boot (minus the little donut ring that makes it fit the stock turbo) that I will throw in for another $20 (came off an 88 or 89). If sold separate I want $25+shipping. These things are getting hard to find. I'm at work so no pics available at the moment. I can post one tonight or PM with email addy if you want a pic.

Not sure of the airflow. More than the 20g though. Spoolup should be comparable to a sy/ty 20g, maybe just a tad more lag. Internal gate. It will take all the abuse you can give it and laugh in your face.

Take that insurance money and buy a ranch hand bumper. You'll probably need some 2" lift springs for the front though to level it out cuz those things are HEAVY.

Loud does not equal (sounds good). If you find yourself turning the volume knob up louder with the new setup this is a good thing. Distortion is most commonly associated with "loud" because of hearing fatigue. That's why when you always see some punk who blew he subs say "it sounded really good and then it stopped working. I'm not sure why."
