Is that your car?? if so, do yourself a favor and replace those OEM fuel injector pigtails with teh 8.00 replacements from autozone.. Have them look up a 1998 Chevy Lumina injector connector. this will save you lots of headache later on.

strang3majik
just use the same size radiator hose. Theres not much of a difference from stock. They're both holding back a lot of pressure...mine hasn't let me down.
Tim_C.
My local NAPA has a bunch of silicone couplers hanging on the wall. We have a lot of pick up trucks that upgrade the turbos, etc.., and the hose couplings sell here. I don't know about other locations? Tim_C.
looks like the wire nuts are how he installed the new injector clips. looks sweet! Yeah, that is major ghetto. That can cause issues with the injectors too. Those connections need to be soldered in.
newquest86
YES.................................. some people shouldn't have tools !
Killtodie
Hey relax, I didnt have time to solder them yet. Car is sitting without a radiator and water pump. As soon as I get those in, I will solder up the injector clips and tape em up as well. BTW, I tried using cold heat on it, but that POS doesnt quite work right. After I get my car running again I''ll do a rebuilt of the intake anyway. I'm not a noob, that was just a temporary setting

Killtodie
They just come off. besides that, cut the wire, solder em, put on a wire tap, wrap in electric tape
JohnnyWadd
Yeah? Lots of pressure there? Its a thick piece of rubber 88 -89 up to 10 psi stock and more during compressor surge. i know it will likely not fail. i was suprised no one said anything about it though

Also, will it work after I upgrade the piping? 2.25 a standard on upgrades? And what should I use to tighten it with? craig87
as far as the wire nuts they are better then an improper solder job. get some heatshrink butt connectors (nice ones, gardner bennet sells them under the exstream label.). If you dont have a good soldering gun you will most likely just create an inch long chunk of brittle wire that will be effected by vibration. a staggered butt connector will never let you down

Also, will it work after I upgrade the piping? 2.25 a standard on upgrades? And what should I use to tighten it with? That's the one, I run a few couplers from them and they are very good quality. And yes 2.25 pipes would be a good upgrade. The original worm clamps will work fine, but if you wanna spent a few more dollars for t-bolt clamps it wouldn't hurt.
