Dcrasta
Man after seeing the rest of the pics all I have to say is everyone http://preacherstudy.com/ezine.jpg BOW YOUR HEAD! Â Lets all pray Oh god of internal combustion, please let this engine live to consume dinosaurs and all the little critters that make up the hi octane elixir. Â We pray that you will have mercy on the internals and that all the little seals will do there jobs. We also pray for the driveline to perform its duties, and for the true believers in the G54B aka 4g54 clan will finally be free of the blasphemy of the infidels! Â In the name of the Tristarion and the creator...(Mitsubishi) ;D Amen.. Psssttt! I say send some pics to mitsubishi and tell them this is what we wanted in the first place ! steelwindmachine
The GT series of turbos from Garret are all viewable at Garret's site and have a downloadable PDF file with their dimensions, options and compressor maps. The turbos have excellent spool characterists for a given engine displacement, excellent efficiency and flow output compared to comparable sized turbos of the past. My guys over on the Turbo Buick boards have been jumping up and down on one leg for these things for well over a year.. mainly because Garret doesn't offer them with a 3-bolt type exhaust housing that would be a direct bolt-on for a Grand National. Precision Turbo and Engine and Innovative Turbo Systems have been procurring hybrid turbos mix-matched with the GT series wheels in TA housings and 3-bolt housings to help the GN guys out. I got chance to fondle, i mean handle a GT42 a week ago and its HUGE. I'm opting for a GT40 for my turbo buick engine swap for my Conquest. Should be potent upto 700hp for race trim ;D Excellent choice of turbo, and a beautiful, unique and meticulous piece of work...certainly trophy-worthy and with what grumblings I'm hearing about Turbo Magazine, maybe too good for their Supra-Skyline-Honda anything dosed pages.. with everything else going retro these days, if they were smart they do a recap on the Starion/Conquests since they are one of a handfull of RWD forced induction imports made that had a hand in the then slow-growing import craze.... heck, if only i wrote for a magazine ... could happen ... but its likely to be GM High Tech Performance
WARP_12
That is the most thought out setup i've seen yet. It's absolutely beautiful. Are you planning on keeping the stock ignition. I noticed the stock distributor is still in place. What type of engine management are you going to use?

vitamincj
He was at Norwalk for the meet there last summer. I only talked to him briefly. The car was almost done. I believe the picture in his sig is from the Norwalk meet but I could be wrong. I will check to see if I have any pics of the car from the meet. If I recall correctly, I was taking digital stills with the digital camcorder so don't expect super quality. CJ
turbo26tsi
Car is sitting in the driveway under the cover weathering the harsh winter. It is still having ignition problems with how much it can be advanced. Also having low compression, earlier on, I have to do another test when it warms up. I have 600miles on it so far, and its using up oil still, engineer at total seal said the rings I have are harder material, so rings may take awhile to seat. Last issue is the Krankvent setup I have. I am not happy with it so far, seems to choking my motor up. I am going to remove that and see how it runs. thanks for the compliments, I have put alot into this and will get it fixed soon hopefully. here are some pics, recent engine shot: far view: Interior: the turbo: I am also working on this thing, been alot of work piecing it together from a parts car back into a working machine:

money4771
Man when I saw those pics I had to run to the bathroom, lock the door, pull down my pants, and get rid of that incredible hard on. By the way my girlfriend sends her thanks. She has put those pics on the computer and when I begin to age and fall off a little she says that one look at those pics would be better than viagra. I say NO DOUBT! I am bowing now, great job!!
Big_J
hmmm, kevin. you live in toledo. ever hang out at showdown? can't remember what color. but i think a kevin at showdown was getting a GT turbo last year and had plenty of mods like you seem to. i used to be deep into the dsm's and took a break from them, but the bug has caught me again because now i have an 87 quest and am getting another awd dsm. my car looks very similar to yours minus the killer engine. REAL nice. -Jon
