I finally got a 13 second(13.8) time slip ! woo hoo !9 cars and a turbo truck showed up , Strickdawg cooked up a simple and filling meal for everyone weather was nice a little cooler than most of our meets but great temps for running them hard . James (autoxer ) ran several back to back 13's and a local guy ran a 13.1 @114 in a TT Z with pep boys tires on it ! Mark 0695 showed up crashed here along w anthony (strickdawg) and we all got to make an early day getting to an almost empty track I made 4 passes before 12:30 , i decided after busting into the 13's to run once more ( using a helmet now hehe) to play it cool and relax trackside and spectate and talk to as many of these folks as possible . def an action packed day and wt.... was dc rasta ? I definitely had a good time, it could have been better if my clutch was acting right. Best time was a 14.6 could not get the damn thing into gear. Oh well i made it home with out blowing anything up lol thats a first for me. I also spanked a 97 supra on the way home. Hey Mark, my temps got up to 195 sitting in that traffic, that was half way on the stock guage but once i got moving it went back down to 160. I liked VA so much that I went to Virginia Beach and got a room. Heading home tomorrow. I have some pics and video that i will get up when I get home. Im also hoping the metallic griding ive now got from the rear of the car is just an axle But all in all it was a good time. It was cool to see so many MPI cars there. Welded up an elbow with flanges to connect to this then welded the flange to the plate you see.
