Just a thought and possibility but gauging interest.I live in central nc in coats. I said I would never sale my quest but I may change my mind. 1987 conauest tsi. 72k on odometer but only approximately 6k on engine. Complete rebuild top to bottom with way too many options and upgrades to list all. Hardpipes,16g, chrome rings, non jet heads,1g mas, and tons more, interior upgrades also done. I am looking at options to sale or trade. Trades would be, travel trailer, street bike, harley, cruiser,4wd, daily driver sport car, truck, minivan etc.. tell me your thoughts. Needs paint job, minor work and driving.tires only have 5000 miles on them but I never drive it and they are cracking. I also have metal full 3 piece window louver set which is a collector item. This is not junk by any means and if you search me on starauestclub.com you can find thd full history and story on this car. By no means do I have to sale it or get rid of it, just checking out options. Ok, guys, I know it has been a long minute since I have been on here. Worse than that, I have not been able to drive the beast for a while for one reason or another. I had bought a full set of drilled and slotted rotor for my 87 quest a long time ago on here. I got them home and like an idiot, took them to a friend to have the powder coat turned off of them. his machine was jacked up and he didn't notice that he had turned all 4 rotor sideways and ruined them. I just need some fronts definitely and rears if I can get a set. I do not get on the puter much, so please email me a strickdawg@hotmail.com. rears are good, i need fronts and they are the expensive ones. i bought a new set of all 4 cross drilled and slotted to go on there, and i let a friend turn them for me, because they were powder coated and his machine was screwed up and cut them all 4 sideways and they are no good now. arrrrg

Hey guys, sorry I have been out of the picture and not around. I still have my Quest and it will never leave my side. I have hit some hard times in the last little while and just not felt like being social. I have lost my kids for 2 years to my ex due to income issues(I still have full custody of them, but had to let her have them last 2 years on temp custody order). They have now moved to Sicily Italy with her and seeing them will be next to impossible, except for phone calls and Skyping. I also lost my job about a month ago due to economy and even though I have put over 100 apps in over last 30, no hits.I am now in middle of moving to Harnett county, about an hour away from Raleigh because I cannot afford rent here any more, I ahve to be out of here and keys handed back in by August 20th. My old boss screwed me out of 1800 dollars which would have made life a little easier with the move and repairs on the house that I am moving to. I have someone coming tomorrow to look at some parts I have that I am going to sale, in order to try and finish fixing my Quest to be a daily driver, since I lost my company truck with my job. Whatever they don't get, I will post on here and see who is interested in them. I have to get rotors for my 87 and have the AC fixed so I can drive it daily in this hot butt weather here. wish me luck guys and hopefully when all settles down, I can get back up with all of y'all. I really hated not to be able to make it to PF this year.

sold, thanks to all that were interested. she hass gone to a great home and i guarantee you will see her out at a meet and in 10 times better shape.

Last time I help a supposed friend out. Here I have The Durban I bought last year, let a buddy drive it as a favor and now I am screwed lol. I had to search the car down to find it after the guy went to jail and find it I did lol. Best I can tell, it has a blown head gasket and water and oil mixed. I have to get it towed to my house soon as possible now. It is an 88, Durban, Auto tranny with tranny mod done.It has after market boost gauge mounted in dash already. I have all new vac lines to go on car,1g mas with k&n filter and a modified ovcp with bov ready to be installed.i can try to answer more if needed, but yesterday was the first time i had seen the car in 8 months lol. i will try to post pics, and they will be from when I bought it last year. I am down anytime guys. I live in raleigh. I travel 3-6hrs every other weekend to get my kids(meet between petersburg va and fort washington maryland) pick them up on fridays and bring them back on sundays. so anyone on the way back on sundays, i can stop by and say hi for a little while. also my kids will be living with their mother for the next school year and i do not have a woman at this time lol. so i am open to hang out.if you are within a 5-6 hour drive, i might be interested, mine is during pretty well as a daily driver now, unless i just stomp the hell outta the throttle and slam thru gears ,and then my clamps dont hold on my pipes lol. let me know guys

Sounds good to me. I camp jordan lake about 10-15 times per year myself. I live about 45-50 mins from the lake and can probably accommodate several extra people at my house if need and we can all convoy to the area via I440/us-1 to hwy 64. basically 2 turns from my house and you are at the lake lol.let me know more about it. I am not on the computer as much as i used to be, so feel free to call or text me Anthony 919-798-6831 cell 919-787-1292 home I will say good luck on getting alot to come lol. i have tried setting up 3 events at nc, 1 included a jordan lake event. i had 1 person from fayetteville show up(thanks kev) ps.ohh yeah if you are looking at staying at the lake, most of jordan lake campsites now require a min 2 week call ahead reservation to get a pot. we found this out the hard way, last time we were there lol. i normally stay at crosswinds, because they actually have a sanded beach roped off for my kids

we are planning on leaving Raleigh around 4-5am on Friday. If that changes, I will let you know. Is there anyone that wants to caravan on the trip. Not exactly sure of route, whatever Magellan says lol. but you can figure approximate times from the departure time. so if anyone from farther east is going and wants to meet us and pull out with us, that is fine.
