Well got home from a few days in Wellington, and found my new stoppers have arrived from the USA.

Wilwood superlite 4 pots, with Polymatrix B race pads.

Should pull her up ok...

Well been toiling away with lots of little jobs while our boy has been having his naps.

Haha, thought you'd just had your baby and was wondering how you had energy to do things other than catch up on sleep. Then I scrolled back and realized that it was a year ago.

Looking like it may run pretty soon??

Haha our boy is now 13 months and crawling round 100 miles an hour. Don't have alot of time to work on the car, but if i get stuck in i could probably have it running in a few weeks. Mostly just finishing the wiring and getting a custom driveshaft done. And a gearbox mount. And a million other lil things haha

Well been a long time between drinks/updates :beer

Have still been busy on the car in spare moments and have managed to get a few more bits and pieces done.

I cut all my intercooler piping out, and Prozac kindly tigged it all up for me, then just bought all the joiners and clamps i needed.

Ive also fabricated brackets for the PS reservoir, and catch can and welded them on. Still need to get rid of the rest of the unwanted engine bay brackets.

Also did up the braided hoses for the catch can.

Started to make first section of turbo downpipe as well before welder ran out of gas :(

Anyways heres a couple of pics (before catch can was fitted)

Well have been getting a bit more done in the spare couple of hrs i have each arvo.

Gave up on rebuilding my rear calipers (what a total PITA), so grabbed another couple off Jas (cheers man) and gave them a good cleanup, wirebrush and then coated them with POR15.

Once dry, i pulled the pistons out, cleaned up the bores, and replaced all the dust covers and seals.

Came up pretty well i think:

Also have finally finished delooming both the engine bay and interior looms. Not a very exciting update, but a very time consuming job making sure im leaving everything i need. So now the looms are alot smaller, and alot tidier. Ive retaped and covered all of them with plastic tubing.

And the best part, is when i reconnected everything up to 12v, everything works as its supposed to :)

This is what i ended up removing!

Now just need to finalise the length of all the ecu wires, then plug them into this:

Also made up a couple of brackets to keep the dash secure on the edges (as ive had to cut away alot for the rollcage)

Lastly had a alloy plate cut to fit 3 gauges where the heater controls usually go. Have mounted the oil pressure and water temp gauges, just waiting on the boost gauge to arrive from the USA.

Well have had a productive wee arvo in the garage.

Lots of little jobs to be done at the moment, so today managed to get the drivers side fire extinguisher mounted, and fabricate the driver and passenger floorplates.

Pics tell the story.

No more spending for awhile as cat has managed to get crook overnight, so $1500 later and he's still at the vets, albeit slightly better!

Might have enough money left for food this month, we'll see haha

Well havn't had much time for car stuff lately as been busy running half marathons, flying round for work meetings and spending time with my boy.

Did manage to get a quote for the bodywork i want done - $1800

Thats for quality work though by an old school guy who avoids bog like the plague which i guess is worth paying for.

So car is goin in to him next time im home.

I did get half the rollcage painted, and 2 of my semi slicks mounted though.

And suspension is nearly finished finally! And brake rotors are redrilled and mounted.

Well long time between updates as work and family life have been taking precedence over playing with my toy. Have got more motivated though and done a bit more recently.

Managed to score myself a Magnus Motorsport inlet manifold which is a beautiful piece of kit, not to mention alot lighter than my cut and shut factory manifold. Also bought a billet throttle body to suit.

http://i73.photobucket.com/albums/i203/Lunacy55/20131110_150621_zps926e78c3.jpg

Decided to go with a full wrap around drivers seat too for extra safety, so have sold one of my racetechs, and bought a Sparco Circuit 2 seat and matching rails. Extremely comfortable and safe seat.

Had the local drive shaft shop make me a custom driveshaft for my Mazda gearbox. Decided on new uni joints, gearbox yoke and shaft itself, and then had it all balanced up. Took a little longer than expected but for the cost and the job they did, was well worth it.

Spent the last week out in the shed for a few hrs a day when my boy was asleep, fabricating a gearbox crossmember for the mazda box. I used Avandulls design for ideas (as my mount is different) and made it up out of 6mm and 3mm steel plate. Am pretty pleased with how well it came out.
