Fil
I know everyone has a reason to do things BUT, have you tried to sell the car first here? I'm sure if you wait a couple of days someone will bite and take it off your hands. :fishing: This way you won't have to get in there and take things off, or anything. If anything give it a week or two please :kowtow: for the sake of all of us that wan't a setup like yours but could never afford it. If not then you will leave me no choice but to call in a favor from Chuck Norris and I'll have him pay you a visit.

jwrape
Ya know something I used to love about the SVOOA Club (SVO Owners Association), they didn't allow the parting out of vehicles on that site. You can sell parts but not part out an entire car unless totaled... I hate to see a perfectly beautiful car be stripped. That just means it will eventually end up in the yard crusher. mstieg
This happens every time somebody gets in beyond their finances and gives up on a built car...even a decent stocker. You can't blame them that these cars aren't worth much fully built. By the responses on here, there is clearly still a good market for aftermarket parts however, so that's where the $$ is. Yes it sucks to see these cars parted, but until somebody steps up with the finanaces to make one well known on a few Speed Channel shows or Forza Challenge 2, or even does well in the bracket racing circuit with a good G54B, this will continue to happen. These cars just aren't known by enough people for them to have a high value. Now if he's patient enough, I gaurantee that car WILL sell for $5k if not more, but it'll take the time to list pretty much EVERY mod, as well as how much each one cost, to really show that $12 investment. Getting it tuned and dyno'd with good 300+hp should really add to the value also. I highly advise you take your time and really put some effort into selling it whole. IF there's ANY way to squeek by and keep it stored somewhere, do that & you won't ever regret it when you're able to enjoy it later. That or selling whole will take much less effort than pull-a-part & shipping tons of this stuff/arranging for local pickups, emails, etc. etc. Parting a car is a PITA. Best of luck with the finances
