nice car! i noticed you go back and forth from little filter on the v/c to oil seperator hose. indesicive? :wink:

 

nah not indecisive, thought i'd put that back on when i went mpi, but couldn't connect the whole system so i went back to the breather

Are you still using the stock flywheel or did you get a Fidanza? It's hard to tell for sure but it seems like my engine revs up & down just a tad quicker.

haven't had a chance to really start tuning it. getting it titled in pa finally :cry:

so he comes inspections, good thing is that when i moved up the street last month, i moved to a new county where they don't have emissions testing

dumped my 3" ic piping for 2.5" and have been redoing the ecu

The car looks and sounds very good! It does sound like it's a bit rich. I'm sure you'll get it right. Are you running megasquirt 2? If you need a decent MSQ file let me know. I've got my car running pretty good up to 20 psi.

 

i have the same setup as button(ms1 extra with the 7 pin hei)

 

so he gave me some of his tunes.

and you realy need to oil your air filter. #1 it's not oiled which traps the dirlt #2 it's not oiled so much it's RUSTING. and HMMMM those charger pipes and IC look realy famailler, I think there is a set in my spare room that look just like them.

already dumped that filter, that filter wasn't even 1 year old. never ran with it on the mpi.

 

only reason it rusted was from me working on it in the winter, and i dropped it in the snow

its been awhile since i have done anything with my car, but since i bought a house i now have a place to store my car inside :party0049:

well when i drove the car over from my parents to my garage i parked it and looked under it and to my pleasure saw coolant and oil leaking all over my drip pan.

 

well since i was already unhappy with the look of my engine bay it was the perfect time to pull the motor paint the bay and put some new hoses and gaskets in the car.

 

well here was the last pic of the car from last year:

only thing left to pull from the bay currently is the motor and trans.

i have pulled the ecu wiring out to clean that all up also.

 

ecu is an fip mpi ecu, it is the bigger(older) version of the ecu.

but it started its life as a normal fip ecu,

the serial port wiring has been covered in mesh shielding and wrapped in electrical tape.

unfortunatly i was unable to install the connectors in the stock mounts since the board was too big.

i've attached another power led to the outside cover.

 

i will be running a megajolt with this setup so that i am able to run distributorless(since fip no longer offers ecu's)

my plan is to install this ignition board in the stock ignitor box.

 

along with this i sold my magna intake and will be installing a custom intake built by chad

(i will be replacing the fuel lines as those came with the intake from the individual i purchased it from)

 

wideband is controlled by a JAW1.03
