They needed a non biased control for the experiment so they got one of the dudes that pushes people onto the tokyo subway trains when the doors close. First time I watched the vid and saw that tire bash through the ramp totally cracked me up. Days later I'm still chuckling thinking about it as I type this! I also liked the "catch" setup at the end of the run... and how poorly it did. Some tires missed it... they set up additional things to (try to) slow down that tractor tire. mike c.
