    I run Castrol GTX 20w-50. No issues. It keeps my forged pistons quiet. I believe Indiana once showed a TSB from Chrysler recommending 20W-50.

    Also some Honda and BMW motorcycles. I don't like the sound of the boxer Subaru engines. The in lines sounds better.

    The two times I changed them is because I overheated the engine once on my old Conquest. Second was for a rebuild on my current car.

    I have breen thinking about a 4bt cummins engine but I don't know much about diesels. So you just bought the truck? This is why I hate buying used stuff. I worry about buying someone else's problem.
