autotr8er2
Sorry for the delay, folks. Lot of business travel. Took last week to get caught up on the house. Momma bought us a new toy, so getting it up to shape for the 4th. http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l543/autotr8er/Mobile%20Uploads/Baja.jpg Summer High Heat and unseasonably Rainy days have drastically slowed me down. The rear suspension is still in the scratching my head phase. I'll have more soon.
autotr8er2
Here is the cantilever part I'm going to use for the rear suspension. Not sure if it's going to last. Borrowed the idea from Robert Jackson (Convette's Optima teammate). I'll give it a go. http://i1123.photobucket.com/albums/l543/autotr8er/Mobile%20Uploads/944041E6-D2A0-482E-9693-F8F178CBD214.jpg It's from a Yamaha R1 Edited July 10, 2015 by autotr8er2

Xtreme Industries
I was wondering what was happening, it has been a while since the last big update. looking good so far. is it easier doing the leveraged suspension vs a typical suspension?
autotr8er2
Yep, I don't have to triangulate where I want the top shock mount needs to be. Plus it looks cooler and I have more adjustability. Edited September 8, 2015 by autotr8er2

I too would like to keep my starion for a very long time and this is inspiration at its finest. Thank you, Brother. I appreciate the support. I'm working to get the suspension set up so I can get the body welded to the frame. The floor will go in prior to that. As far as inspiration, I can thank all the previous LS swappers, especially Convette. I'm blaming him exclusively for all of this. HAHA. Looking forward to being the second conquest chasing the Optima Challenge. Edited September 11, 2015 by autotr8er2
