Burton
40's the new 30. I sure hope so, because I'm about a year and a half away. Luckily I'm still in really good shape and health for my age, but all those injuries I got when I was young and doing stupid stuff are starting to bug me again. Happy Birthday! I'll drink one for ya too. In fact, I may start right now!

chiplee
Happy Birthday. What's strange is that 40 still sounds old to me despite the fact that it's like 3.5 years away. I think no matter how old I get, I'll always just rationalize that at least I'm not "that old". I'm 36, and it makes me feel better to say at least I'm not 46. When I'm 46 I'm sure it'll feel good to say "at least I'm not 56." Are 56 year olds happy they're not 66, etc.? Reminds me of "Stumbling on Happiness" by Dan Gilbert.
