Darn!!! need to get a flux capacitor an a Mr. Fusion converter gb goin'!!!!!

John, exactly what kinda temps are you generating? I'm envisioning something like a p/s pump mounted next to your fuel cell driven by an elec. motor controlled by temp sensor after it goes thru some type of cooler to your diff. w/fittings @ 7 & 1 o'clock respectively. just a hopefully helpful thought. Michelin/BFG tires for free...what size should I get?
wolfsquest replied to Preludedude's topic in Just plain ol' B.S.
Something to help you choose is to look up the rolling height of your choices. 225/50 - 16 is about 24.75" and while 245/50 - 16 is as close to original 245/45 - 16 to find, it throws off your speedometer by about 2.5 m.p.h. ie; 55 on the speedometer is actually 52.5-53 m.p.h. Just a little more info. to help you decide on tire sizes. W. -
Glad you're takin what I said to heart. would hate to see you or your other baby girl in a ditch somewhere.

Carlos, I'm not trying to discourage you, but I think your goal's not too realistic. If this is your first cross country trip in a car, please allow yourself a lot more time than 48 hrs., just to be safe, say like 3 1/2 days to go from point A to point B . A good GPS (Garmin) and a good Atlas should be amongst your preparations, the extra time is to allow for needed rest and varying road/traffic conditions, and unexpected stops/detours. I'd also take a laptop w/me for added communication w/various club members along your route, that may be able to assist you should you need it. That being said, PM me if you'd like help planning your trip, as I drive an 18-wheeler for a living. W.

knocking from back of engine on acceleration
wolfsquest replied to 88starchris's topic in Newbie Question and Answers
I think you need to put it up on a lift an pull the oil pan to check it out properly, otherwise you're not gonna be able to say for sure WHAT'S causing the knock. Could you be a little more specific about low oil pressure at idle? -
Good deals on parts, great knowledge, and Dad can handle almost anything you can throw at him, rods? Not a problem, unexpected or newly discovered weaknesses/defects? he can probably handle that too, which is why I recommended him, and like 'bird said, it'll be worth it in the long run. Best of luck, an still waitin' on pics of both!!!

Y'know I really hate to say this, but a couple of these spoilers could actually work..... at a drive-in, that is !! LOL!!!

Welcome to the asylum, the inmates are runnin' things here, jump in w/questions, the water's fine as are most of the inmates here. any help you or your other half need, I'm sure you'll find someone around here w/a helpful answer. -
Sounds like you might be a little late if your son is already talkin' about a friend's encounter to girls, best to get off the pot and have that talk w/BOTH of your children. The best thing a parent can give or instill in their children is a good sense of right an wrong, w/communication runnin' a close second, IMO. Best of luck.
