va 88 esir
It will work, rather should work, with that adapter. However the downpipe won't bolt to the one in that comes with it. Also Im not sure about the oil and coolant lines but these things can be fab'd. Edited June 9, 2011 by va 88 esir
misterdrifter
Is there any place/site to get a 16g/18g/20g that will bolt up? I had thought there was a direct bolt up 16g turbo off of ebay.... but I can't find one for the life of me.. Where do you get a bigger turbo than a 12a if you're not lucky enough to find someone selling one...?

Scotty Dont
Well what you were looking at on ebay was china made junk. Id rather spend a couple hundo more for something that will last then 300 on something that could crap out the same day I put it on AND has no warranty. BC_99
Take you 12a off and send it here. http://www.tepturbos.com/ They will machine your old turbo to fit up to a 20g. They did my 16g and Truth's mitsu/garret hybrid, both in stock 12a housings. Mine was around $500 with all new parts. BC_99

Fuze
If you're industrious you could make that turbo fit but you'd need custom exhaust. Problem is, no decent turbo will be $350. I learned the hard way with a couple ebay T3/20G hybrids that were total garbage. I got my 18G rebuilt from a Super 16G for about $650 at turbochargers.com, aka Texas Rebuild many years back. They do excellent rebuild work and warranty it. Top End Performance is a good outfit for Starion parts http://racetep.com but I doubt they do any turbo rebuilds in-house. They were big years ago and do have a nice catalog of parts, although always on the pricey side. My problem with them has always been their attitude, but I still swear by their ported exhaust manifold. Good Luck.
