  4. Hey, well the time has come for me to get out of quest. I picked this up questioning my going back to college and have decided I want to so I need to get rid of her. I think the price is pretty fare for what it is. It drives great, really does, and the interior is in nice shape. This is a copy and paste of my thread on Vadriven.com. Any questions call 804-916-0542 or pm me Thanks Dave I have a 88 chrysler conquest for sale. Car has about 169K on it. The cluster has been swapped. I messed up the original when I added the boost guage in the stock location. The cluster currenty reads at 165,XXX. So there is only about a 4k difference. The car has new plugs, and wires done @ about 167K. It has the factory 12a on it with full 2.5 exhaust. It has a modded 1g b.o.v. and thats about it. The tires on the rear are just about done but I have replacement 245/50/16 for it. The front tires are good but have spares for the front. The car smokes on start up for a second and goes away. DOES NOT smoke after start up. Just needs valve stem seals. The car runs top notch. No cutouts, doesnt over heat, runs very very strong. The car has a couple of surface rust spots. Nothing bad though were a 1/4 needs replaced or anything. Also the frame rail on the passenger front has about a 2-3 in rust spot and the drivers rail has a 1-2 inch spot. The rust has not spread to the floor boards at all. The car needs a windshield and shocks. I will throw in the shocks that are from a sport handling package car(8 way adjustable) and a set of cut handling package springs. Also comes with a greddy turbo timer and autometer boost guage. The a/c just needs a belt and recharge as far as I know but heat works perfect. The interior is all there. It has the sport seats, crank sunroof, and radio controls on the steering wheel, power windows and locks. The only thing is the seats have a couple defects but aren't torn to hell Thanks, Dave Pictures: http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/a...-18_214243.jpg http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/a...2278083993.jpg http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/a...4-19205255.jpg

  6. I used the port closest to the firewall in the three row of ports
  7. It will work, rather should work, with that adapter. However the downpipe won't bolt to the one in that comes with it. Also Im not sure about the oil and coolant lines but these things can be fab'd.
  8. I saw the thread on *DM with e-manage ultimate but blue is the lower model. I wanted wasn't sure if it would work on the car but I can pick up the blue for a good price on craigslist. Thanks
  9. Has anyone run emanage blue on a tbi car? If so any advice, directions, install guides would help big time. Thanks
  10. I got excited, gotta go change my boxers... be right back Your quest is pimp. The Z is sweet too, I've always wanted to get one and do it like that.
  11. Wrong section to post your question. But search performance and advanced mechanic section
  12. There are many things that could cause your problem and I'd have the car checked over by yourself or a mechanic because you just bought the car. You want to make sure that it is getting fuel, spark, air. SOME of the most common things to look for would be clogged fuel filter, check the fuel pump for proper operation(getting power and ground, putting out enough volume and pressure). Check the fuel injectors to insure that they are not clogged or leaking, and injector clips. Also check the mas air flow meter. just a couple of quick things off the top of my head. Repost your issue in the virtual mechanic section though and more people will chime in on this to help you out as well.
  13. My cooling system works fine. They call it hood tilt around here. I never heard of cali induction but I used it as a good cheap way to let heat escape from under the hood, not to draw air in. Kinda looks cool to me too, not for everyone though.
  14. How much for the yellow airdam if its forsale? Thanks
  15. Thanks crazyquest. Your cars is F'n sweet.
  16. Bump for a good Dude. Phil let me drive this thing after we rebuilt the turbo. Strong ride
  17. Well, I sold the palmero gray starion in January and picked up a civic. Last week I traded the civic for a 89 quest tsi. It runs good just needs some love. First mod: http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae147/Dkoy88/2011-04-18_214259.jpg http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae147/Dkoy88/PART951302278083993.jpg http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae147/Dkoy88/2011-04-18_214243.jpg Should be going to Phil's tomorrow to get some parts.
  18. Okay I hate to be the dumb arse. So you can use this method with the stock hotside housing? I fear running into the same problem. I have either a 16 or 20g that I put a 12a exhaust wheel on, so that I could bolt it up to the stock exhaust housing and use the stock manifold. If a downpipe like that will work, I weld the flapper shut?
  19. $950. I need this car gone. Please contact me if you have any question(my cell # is on the link). Thanks
  20. No problem Razor564, just let me know.
