How and where were you able to get this information?

Google Earth can ID specific makes & models from satellite imagery. It was previously secretive for national security use only but has now spread into the private sector. Only those which have been driven and at least had their license plates affixed with a DMV registry tag are able to be documented above as verifiable.

It's a shame we'll probably never no the production numbers breakdown for regular vs. SHP. That would definitely put an additional twist on things. There's got to be some old Japanese guy somehere in Japan that worked at the plant back in the day and has a pretty good idea of how that all went down.

  • 1 year later...

Bringing this thread up from the dead.

Does anyone have any estimates of how many are still on the road? Running? In restoration? (alot have been parted out and/or crushed)
