Tim, I would venture to say that both of our cars are 1 of a kind (as well as many of the members on here)

 

As far as further breakdown of production numbers; That would be interesting, but i'm sure if no-one has found out by now, that information is lost forever

well my 88 Durban Maroon with tan cloth interior is rarer than all of your cars because I am Multiport.....I have the only MPI Durban Maroon Auto with tan cloth on this site....

Holy crap! Mine was one of 189 '89 Starions. More than that, its a SHP. I wonder how rare that makes it? Either way, pretty awesome (unless that's a typo or something).

My 88 blue Starion is not only the only SQ that color anywhere, but it is a color that is not on any car in the world. I wish I had measured what all I used so I could copyright it or whatever, but I just mixed up all the left over basecoats, blue candy, and 5 different colors of pearl I had laying around from old jobs.... viola, Burton Blue Pearl;)

So there were over 70,000 of these cars produced over the 8 year run? And I thought I had something that was actually rare.
:lol:
The real question is how many of these cars are still on the road? My guess is about 5000 with another 10,000 parts cars sitting in peoples yards. What do you guys think??

6093 in the USA

14 In Canada

141 in Puerto Rico
