amazing yet sad.

looks to be such a nice rust free body.

 

Yeah I agree, especially when it looked like this when the PO first got it.

He got it with a spun bearing and some other engine issues. So he parted it to have stuff for his Fiji SHP.

 

It is a shame, but some must die for others to survive. I will let you know when I get the frame rails cut out for you.

Looks more Palermo to me originally, but probably could be Valencia or maybe even Shetland. Those cars all have very similar underhood colors.. For a second, I thought I may have the hood from it, until I saw the pic of it all together. I got an 83 hood a few years back that was wrecked...It was a VERY similar blue/purple color.

Its been dead around here lately so I figured I'd post up some of what Ive been messin with and get some feedback, thoughts and ideas...

here is my 83 hood that I have been doin some light bodywork to as well as lightening and making functional scoops on.

and Im working on doing all of my trim panels in black wrinkle finish paint, including: cowls, window trim, c-post trim, grill and marker lights,and tail light panels, ect..

some new tail lights are going in after paint.

here are some other parts that I may adding in the future, I havent decided yet, but I bought them locally and Iknow I could sell them if I dont wanna use them.

What did you scuff the plastic parts with before painting them that wrinkle texture?
