I cant believe Grant's car made it more than an hour without a problem

I see my old Starion :(

... and demon's is a T80? No way. T80 + tan interior + Do-Lucks ( though I see the Hot Wheels on there ) makes his very, very, very... well damn impossible to come by.

I forgot this meet was even happening.

A good meet! Once I get back from Iraq I will definitely make a trip out to one. I call "home" Montgomery, so I'll do what I can to come to one. Plus I'm friends with natedogg and would love to see the Colt!

Big props to Lee and Dave! Lee did 99% of the installation while Dave of course flexed his welding skills! Dave gave me a ride in his MPI car and DAMN.. that thing is fast! Apparently at just a mild tune! So I guess Im going to have to go MPI soon. It was cool meeting everyone and they made it a nice little turn out.

after

We only guessed on the height settings and didnt make any adjustments after the install because I was on a time limit and had to be back in TN. But they can go a few inches lower front and back. Ill do some tweaking this weekend after I read the instructions lol. They are far superior to the MK1/Cosmo combo in every respect though.

Looking great guido! ;). Now I dont have D2's, but I have Mookeeh full body coils and the ride a nice coil over gives you is worlds difference to the sleeve over coils. Not to mention you can go wayyyy lower and still have full shock travel. Now Im not the lowest, but Im pretty low and I can drop my coils another 5 or so inches if I wanted to. Granted my Frame would be on the ground in about 2 3/4in and my Trailing arms would hit the Unibody before that...

My plans are to go about 1 in lower in the rear as well as the front. The only thing holding me back right now is having the exhaust tucked like Robert's is.

Man DemOn, Those pics look great. You have a much more artistic eye for photographs than I do, so I was anticipating the goods and you didn't dissapoint.

It is amazing how close we got the heights of the D2s to the heights that you arrived here at. That was important to me so that the comparison between your old and news setups could be as fair as possible. At the same heights the D2s provided more suspension travel and no bottoming out. I'm sure with adjustment and fine tunning of height and dampning the D2s will really start to shine.

Now, I've got to get my D2s on and get some different sized tires. ^_^

So...how'd the D2s ride? You two are the first guys to have driven on them! We're waiting on input!!

demon were are the do-luck's? can they be for sale? let me know.

and i was first to drive on the d2's! and yes they are a amazing ride

Joe is right, he did drive on them first. What Nick meant to say is "drive on them for a long distance" as dem0ntsi was 125 miles from home and sellerfeller was 70 miles from home.

And I asked about the do-lucks. They are not for sale. He put the Hot Wheels 68s on in case something went wrong on the road he didn't want to take a chance with the double sixes. Once he gets the D2s dialed, he'll then put them back on and adjust accordingly.

The Do Lucks only come out for car shows and such so they generally stay in the garage 360 days out of the year. If I ever sold them I dont think there are too many people who would pay for what Id ask lol. Im going to get smaller tires, get the right height down, then stick them in the car and drive to Atlanta for the proposed calendar photo shoot soon(if thats still going on) If you REALLY want a set, I hear they are still available in the UK but be prepared for about $1000 per wheel and nearly a year before you get them.

They drive awesome, we turned the stiffness all the way up on dads car.. I dunno if he likes it though, haha.

Turn them down to at least halfway for the first 250-300 miles, you run the risk of blowing out the valves otherwise. (Break in procedure I was given by the guys from KW while putting coilovers on a C70, same advice HKS gave my buddy with an Evo 8)
