SQF Posted December 20, 2009 Report Share Posted December 20, 2009 Last Thursday we got our confirmation for our consulate appointment in Guangzhou. So, we booked our flights Thursday night and we are heading to China this Wednesday. Leaving the kids with Grammy for Christmas. We get into Beijing the 24th, tour Beijing, see the great wall, Ming tombs, Tienanmen Square, Forbidden City etc. and go get Kara on Monday. A few days in Beijing, a few days in Henan province, then Guangzhou then Shanghai and home January 11th. I'll post some pics up when I can. We did our Christmas with the kids our Christmas presents today and they (well the younger two did, the older two played along) made a map for Santa to get their presents to Grammies house on the 25th since they won't be home. I'm going back to Houston for the holidays to stay with a friend, see some family, drink a couple of hundred beers, and generally do as little as possible. I hope your trip goes as well as mine.
