87TSiStock
Sorry if this sounds noob but after I install a 3" exhaust, ported stock turbo (for now),manual boost controller, hardpipes and a couple other things am I going to need to get the car on a dyno for a basic tune or can I squeak by without needing one? Thanks
Funky Phil
your fine. Not really anything to tune anyways.
Fuze
Unless you have something like an Apex-i Super AFC or a MAF Translator, you can't really tune anything except maybe playing with the timing. The stock turbo won't require you to really do anything anyway, the car can handle whatever the 12A can do with a stock tune.
scott87star
In other words the stock ECU is a dinosaur, get something you CAN tune.
NikoFab
In other words the stock ECU is a dinosaur, get something you CAN tune. ^^^Shameless plug^^^ But he's right, at some point get yourself a basic Megasquirt at least. It's going to leave you the flexibility for more comprehensive future upgrades.

importwarrior
from what i have read and scene, a Basic megasquirt has ran anything from a single cylinder 2 stroke to a dual spark 27 liter 12 cylinder allison airplane engine and everything inbetween
psu_Crash
"Basic Megasquirt" You people have no idea. "basic" haha! That's how it always starts. IMO there is nothing basic about any stand alone install. My 2 cents
