Sully
Ok... since there's so many questions on what fits, I think a thread would be good. This way members can find this info without searching through a bunch of threads. Chances are, if theres a wheel your thinking about getting, someone on here has one the same size. Please post: 1. a pic of your Car 2. Front wheel dimensions 3. Front spacer dimension if used 4. Front tire dimension 5. If coilovers w/ cut spring perches are necessary on the front 6. Rear wheel dimensions 7. Rear spacer dimension if used 8. Rear tire dimension 9. If coilovers w/ cut spring perches are necessary on the rear lastly.... please do not muck the thread up. Personally I'd like for you all to post the above only. No questions unless you feel it is pertinant to the thread. No "what kind of tires" or "where did you get those" "damn..... those are tight dawg!" or those would look better in black" I know there are still going to be people in the BS section asking if certain rims will fit. Rather than going through it all, we can just post this link. Thanks EDIT: Ok I can add mine now that I have it sorted out. I don't have any pics of the car sitting still but these still show a bit. http://stld.smugmug.com/photos/354973295_fSCv3-X3-1.jpg http://stld.smugmug.com/photos/354973674_UqARR-X3-1.jpg http://stld.smugmug.com/photos/354973470_X57en-X3-1.jpg Front 2. 17x9 +25 3. 15mm spacer 4. 275/40/17 Kumho VictoRacer 5. Cosmo Coilovers w/ cut perches. There is very little room betweel the tire and the strut. I can't even fit my pinky finger between them so make sure your wheels bearings are tight. Front fenders could use a roll IF you plan on putting high stresses on it. During normal autocrosses I haven't had any problems but, in the pic above, the landing scraped the tire up. Also, If your running street tires you don't want to go with 275mm wide up front. They have a thicker sidewalls and WILL cause clearance issues. Rear 6. 17x9 +25 7. 1" I believe. They're Dereks old spacers. 8. 275/40/17 Kumho VictoRacer 9. Cosmo Coilovers w/ cut perches. Not sure if its necessary. No roll needed. 295's will fit if your using race tires. 315's won't fit in the fenders. I haven't tried 305's yet. These tires are over kill so don't expect improvements in turns. They're good if your going in a straightline though. Edited August 23, 2008 by Sully

The perches didn't absolutely need to be cut, but I did so for more adjustment from coilovers. Fender lips have to be cut/rolled/shaved with the rear width and offset. Iv been contemplating doing this for next year, I have a full set of four 245/45 Victoracers and was thinking of using my SHP 8s up front and normal 8"s in the rear instead of dumping a stupid amount of cash for 2 more 265's. i think you just swayed my decision
D_Venable
since this thread has popped back to the top. I'm gonna update mine a bit. Same Sparco NS06 wheels. 18x9.5 rear wheel 22mm offset now with a 33mm spacer for a combined -11mm offset 265/35-18 Kumho Escta Supra (I HATE THIS TIRE, IT'S HARD AS HELL) 18x8.5 front wheel 22mm offset no spacers (but I want to run a 10-15mm spacer) 235/40-18 Toyo T1S (great traction, but it's too narrow, and too tall. I want a 245/35-18) http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/mycar2.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF5676.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF5672.jpg http://www.26liter.us/gallery/albums/userpics/10030/DSCF5669.jpg Derek
Sully
Don't go 15mm I have 15mm on mine with 17x9 +25's. In that pic of my jump it put alot of load on the RF and I rubbed the fender wearing the tire down to the cord on the outside edge. Granted it was under special circumstances but still.. yours will be out a few more MM than mine. the problem with 10mm.... is their not bolt on. 15mm was the smallest available in a bolt on. Unless you get them machined down a bit but they're already pretty thin. EDIT: my local Murray's (a CSK parts store) have plate style spacers in stock for 10ea. that should be good enough if you want to go that route. even with the largest one there is still plenty of thread left Edited August 23, 2008 by Sully
D_Venable
are your fenders rolled yet? And what size tire, the 255? Because I already need to roll the rear fenders (blown strut is causing the tire to rub on the driver's side) might as well do it on the front too. when I get back home, I've got access to a metal lathe (next door at my grandpa's) so if I need to, I can machine a 15mm down a bit. Sully
no.. they're not rolled but they could use it if I do more Supermoto type events. Otherwise, it'll stay like it is. I run 275's all around but construction wise.... they're about the same as 255 street tires, sidewal to side wall. These are the spacers that I got and they SUCK! I went with these because they're $30 cheaper than the std. lug type spacer. The second time I torqued them down the bit thing started to bend and mess up the lugs. Std lugs fit in the holes but there isn't enough room to fit a socket in to tighten them down. Also make sure you have enough room for the stock lugs to fit in the back of the wheel. They explain it in the auction. http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...em=320281919259
