  1. all back fees are paid. the car has not passed smog yet. thanks for your inquiry.
  2. It's hard to let her go. Just got into the photography business and at the moment, it's my priority. I've owned this car since 2007 at 140,000 miles...it currently has 141,000 miles. It was originally white and I drove it to R&J Autobody (responsible for High End Performance's 350Z and Eneos Orange Evo)...these guys painted my car the porsche silver. Paid $4K for the paint...their business went down and didn't get my car for almost 3 years. Then finally, he was able to fulfill what should have been done 3 years ago. I got the car back in 2010...which it sat in my brother's garage for 2 more years...until this year, I got her to work by replacing the fuel injectors/fuel filter. It was all it needed and now it runs strong along with the original turbo. http://sigmasixphoto...22895668_ndPwRL https://s-static.ak....3896658753&ev=0 http://sandiego.crai...2992050948.html Details: 5 spd, new 3-stage Porsche Silver paint, new fuel injectors (TRILOGY Turbos), new tires (Fuzion by Bridgestone/Firestone), fuel-injection seals/gaskets replaced, minor tune up done (spark plugs, oil change, coolant, wires, distributor cap, rotor, new brakes, and a 1-off RARE SPOILER (NOT INSTALLED)... 4. Hello...interested in the Front Air Dam and Left Tail Light w/ socket.
  5. Are there any other shops out there? I may be in SoCal but I'm willing to tow or drive the car maybe up to 4-12 hours. There's gotta be someone out there who can be trusted. Thanks.
  6. This is the info that helps. Thanks.
  7. Do you guys know anyone in the forum that has done swaps like these? I just don't want to spend this money rebuilding what in my Conquest right now. It still runs but I want to have something different and very reliable. Even if it comes down to a freakin' Tundra engine I'll even take. Haha. Just need to know who can do. Thanks everyone.
  8. Thanks for the advice but I really need to know the name of the shops. I will be doing this very soon. If I have to spend an extra $1K-$2K for installation for a corvette engine, that'll be cool to have one in there. Thanks again.
  9. I'm just looking for a reputable shop who can do a swap for a good price in SoCal. Complete Package around $5K-$6. Is it even possible for the money? 1. Corvette Engine 2. 2JZ 3. SR20DET 4. RX7 Engine 5. Mustang Cobra Engine
  10. that's cool of you guys to post your opinion! thanks.
  11. it will either be white, titanium silver, black, or gold??? more pictures of the wheels: S7 http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/items/DPEMulti2.pjpeg and S20: http://www.ca-automotive.co.uk/items/S20Gs.pjpeg
  12. I know it's preference...but what do you guys think. It will be for show only. It will have a step-lip and polish lip and probably with gold face. The picture of the S7 shown in Matte Black is not a steplip but has the option...so picture it gold and with a steplip. S7 or S20 both will have step lip: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y163/spltscnd95sol/S7S20.jpg
  13. it's looks really good!!! good choice!!! :eek1bluegreen: i think he used these ichiba or project kics (these are bolt on), they make it for mitsubishi with hubcentric ring...i believe up to 30mm: http://site.ichibausa.com/Photos/TOP02.jpg you guys probably know this info but here you go anyway...those thinking of using hubcentric wheel spacers 5x114.3 with 67.1 hub diameter: Mitsubishi Bolt Pattern
  14. Will a 17x11 fit in the rear? if so, what tire would you recommend? The size are 17x9.5+6 and 17x11+18
  15. SO YOU GUYS ARE SAYING: FRONT 1. Get rid of the knob to fit regular cartridges. 2. Shortened the Housing and an MR2 KYB cartridges will fit. Question: Can a non-adjustable be used on 89 SQ with SHP? REAR 1. Same Procedure?
  16. how did this go? so just buy all 4 adjustable KYB for an MR2 and no mods needed...they will fit in our cars?
  17. anyone else got opinions, say, or violent reactions on suspensions? thanks guys.
  18. "The struts for these cars are drying up. The easiest option are the full bodied MK1 coilovers. These are the only ones that have been designed to actually work well." That's is all i need to know...what works well. there was really no review for it so i was kind of hesitant to get it. "Please help me decide the best way to go. It's not going to be a race car or drag but will be a project for restoration with a custom paint...." i've stated my purpose...not a race car but restoration. thanks for your help.
  19. can anyone please help me on this? a lot of views but no reply. i'm guessing you're bouncing around like me? or don't have an 89?
  20. I'm new at this forum. I just got my 1989 Conquest TSI from my best friend who decided to focus on his dream car...the MKIV Supra (2jz). I'm in need of a suspension. I've search throughout this site and nothing or no one seem to give 100% advice on which suspension is the best for our cars. I probably don't need to mention it but i have the adjustable suspension. I've done a little research and this is what i have so far: 1. MK1 Coilover Suspension = $1500 (front and back) <-- this seem to be the one for me! 2. KYB - Rears Only! = $120 (pair) 3. Eibach Springs = $256 (front and back/springs only) eibach springs 4. Monroe = $120 (rear only) 5. KYB Cartriges (don't know if it will work for adjustables) = $100 (pair, front only) 6. Air Ride Suspension = $1400 - $2400 7. 8. Please help me decide the best way to go. It's not going to be a race car or drag but will be a project for restoration with a custom paint. thank you everyone in advance. for a car that's almost 20 years old, this is probably one of the best cars i've owned. no oil leak, none on the tranny, none on the clutch cylinders, brake cylinders, and very clean...still boosting. wow! the picture below is the engine detailed by my best friend. if you need more info on how much he charges, just pm me. http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y163/spltscnd95sol/conquest_tsi.jpg
