Amplifying factory stereo

Hey all , I want to run a system off my factory stereo ( this thing is just to cool to replace) i have a 6 disc on it now but i want to run a sub, how to I wire the pre outs, I bought a "speaker level converter" wich says it"matches car stereo output to amp input" but for one it has vehicle specific instructions , of course no quest or even close, and second this thing just looks to comlpicated to do a simple chore, you have to run about every wire in and out of it, I thought it would be a sim

Battery relocation.
Why do it? More room up front for other items (MSD or IC sprayer perhaps?), it also helps add weight to the rear (for those concerned about weight distribution).
How to-> Well, first off this is not the end all do all. There are other ways to complete the task. This is just what I decided to go with. I have included a link to a Yahoo folder with many pictures to aid you.

I purchased my '87 Conquest from a former road racer. Â When I got the car, I noticed that the clutch pedal felt weak.
