The 89 I picked up last week ran pretty good most of this week. As the week went on it started running rougher and idles rough now. I had it parked next to my 88 and did some trouble shooting. The 89 seems to run on both injectors at idle. On my 88 you can unplug the secondary injector at idle and it runs perfect. T he new 89 is not that way, unplug the secondary and it dies at idle. The only difference is the 89 is an auto transmission. Engine smooths out at 2k rpm. Any help is appreciated. :-)

Picked up this 88 TSI today in Cape Giradeau, MO. Drove it back home 120 miles. It runs and drives great. It needs a little TLC but already has alot of reliability/replacement upgrades done to it. Wish I didnt have to work July 4th this year.
