Advance auto sold me some and went to install them. Guy said pin was weird and they don't carry any like that. He told me I need to get refills and cut to length   Is this right? Who carries a direct replacement?

During my restore I replaced all steering parts including rebuilding steering box and pump. I lined everything back up from scratch and did an alignment. When I installed the box it was centered. So now steering is the same amount left to right and all was good. Well after driving my buddys 88 tsi I noticed it steered more right than left . Then I realized its probably do to tight right turns. My car is almost back together and was wondering if anybody thinks it will be a problem? Car is a auto

i'm not, as usual i have the axles rebooted but still need to install rear calipers, rear brake lines, driveshaft, and short shifter, bleed brake system, grease e brake cables, fill trans and diff, put wheels on with noo tires n lugs and test drive. gotta get busy ... oh, and get beer n booze
