    Head Gasket Fun

    Fuze
    By Fuze,
So, I stopped procrastinating and did the head gasket this weekend, probably about my 10th in 16 years. I guess I've got a few little things I always do that might be of help to somebody else. If so, cool. A lot of us have done these, but not everybody.     >Get the head resurfaced if you have the time/money. That said, I've done it probably twice..not a requirement usually if the head is in good shape... but a best practice.   >Use painter tape to label the sensor connections or whatever

    By Bag-O-Chips,
i'm just cleaning out spares that i have layin around,   these are a set of std. size JE forged pistons that TEP sells, I beleive they are 8.2:1 compression. I bought them used from another member here but I my self never used them. I've mic'd the piston out and every thing looks to be within spec. *these are press in type not floaters*   my asking price is what I paid for them, nothing too rediculous, just to break even.   Price is shipped anywhere in the 50 states   i'll post pics when I get
