My gf's got an 02 Montero, 3.5 that may be due for a timing belt. Anybody here ever done one of these? Tough? Easy? Typical? I can't seem to find a Haynes manual for it either. What else did Mitsui use these motors in?

I own an 1988 Conquest TSi automatic with 75,000 original miles. I drove it from NC where I purchased it to my home in Texas. The only issue at that time with the vehicle was that the a/c did not blow cold and engine was overheating due to operable right fan. It was a long ride back through Texas in May without A/C!   Once I arrived home, I scheduled the car for the obligatory oil change, tune-up, fluid flushes, etc. Also, wanted the a/c and fan issue resolved.   So....,here is where the sad
