Ever had to cut u-joints to remove them?

I did. While doing the clutch on my toyota pickup I noticed the u-joints were clunky. After 21 years and 63k miles they were failing. Problem was they were internal retaining type. Meaning the retaining clip went inside the flanges not outside. http://images.oreillyauto.com/parts/img/medium/mpj/p387.jpg The retaining clips go in the grooves on the bearing cap. I put my Conquest for sale on Craigslist. I state in the ad I am not selling as parts but selling the complete car only. This guy emails me and offers me $200 for the wheels. Guess he didn't read my ad. He says he will pay me $200, I say dream on so he replies that he will give me $280 and that is is final offer. Im thinking what is up with this guy??? So it took me a while but I finally realized that my parts car is an 89! Says Oct of 88 and I didn't put two and two together till now. It only took me... 7 years Anyways! Realizing this I remembered that the 89's has the auto down window switch along with other goodies! So I went out and pulled off the switch and started the cleaning.
