Air intake hose
By Charged_GBH,
Hey guys, I´m looking for the air intake hose that goes from the air filter housing to the turbo. Also, I´m looking for the original clamps for the hose. Car is a 89 Starion. Got already two new hoses and both cracked. I think, it´s because i don´t use the original clamps. I would really appreciate, if anyone could help me. PS: I´m located in Germany, so please excuse my poor english Thanx guys

Low Compression
By mechengrkj,
So the other day I did a compression test and all the cylinders were running at about 90psi. I have a couple other things that I am going to test to make sure that I did it correctly. Anyways, say I have low compression that is about equal in all the cylinders. What are your thoughts on compression repair additives in the oil? Yay or nay? Good or bad? Problems with the additive in the turbo? EDIT: The title of the thread should be "Low Compression". I just can't type.
Low oil pressure
By leesquest,
I have an aftermarket oil pressure mechanical gauge, set up in my car. when I first start it up it reads 60lbs pressure until it warms up. After warm up at 2,200 rpm at 70 mph (automatic tranny) it is reading about 30lbs. At idle at a stop light it is reading from 0-5lbs. until I touch the gas a little. What should I be seeing at idle, with a warm engine? The Car runs nice with no smoking. is there any other simple reason for low oil pressure at idle? I think it is about due for an oil
