Fail Safe Thermostat: Well Worth it!

Our red '87 had a fail safe thermostat installed some 7/ 8 years ago. Well, it finally went bad. I know cuz I open the radiator cap and saw the coolant just flowing freely. Imagine if it had been just a regular unit? A blown headgasket would follow. Well worth the extra fee bucks.

No window motor or pop up motor power

About a month ago my brother barrowed my battery and left my hood off. Well I went to unhook the battery to let the engine bay dry out as it had rained, the wire that goes from the + terminal to the fusible link box sparked as it got wiggled. Now I have no power to my windows or popups I found some good fusible links but that wasn't the problem. Could my link box gotten messed up or the relay have gone bad or is it more likely a short, I couldn't really find anything useful in the manual. And wh
clutch slave question

my clutch used to engage/disengage almost right off the floor..... replaced the clutch slave with a new one and now it feels 10x better but it now engages/disengages about halfway.. that normal?
