    OH NO!!!

The data center where the site was housed on a Virtual Machine was shut down. The person who was in charge of the VM never saw the emails about migrating because it was flagged as spam and went to his junk folder. Long story short, they turned off the lights and locked the door without SQC being migrated to a new server.

Unfortunately the most viable backup to use is from Nov. 2015 so we lost numerous posts and registered members. If you joined after that date you will need to register again.

The new site requires you to use the email address in your profile to log into SQC and whatever password you had back in 2015. If you don’t remember your password there is a “Forgot your password?” option at the bottom of the Sign In block. If you don’t remember the email you used in your profile contact one of the Moderators for assistance or email loginhelp@starquestclub.com

I love this new board but it just seems that we don't have the number of people we used to.  All of the hard hitters and regulars are over here but we seem to have lost the average Joe.  For instance, I put up an add for a 88 ECU on this board last week and haven't gotten one hit on it and last night I put the same add on the old swapmeet boards and got three emails about it in less than a day.     Maybe there should be a link on all three pages of the old board directing people to this board?

Pics: solid OEM pulley & SDS magnets mounted

    Boosted_One
    By Boosted_One,
The pulley shown below is MD020842. It is a solid 1 piece pulley basically. If you run AC then you bolt on another pulley to this pulley. I don't use AC so the pulley will be installed as shown.   The pulley spaces out the same as my 87 "rubber joined" pulley that has the AC pulley. I was concerned with possibly needing a shorter crank bolt but I sized it up and the center section looks to space the same so it all looks good.   I installed my magnets just like the manual stated. The wall of

    SDS thread

    Boosted_One
    By Boosted_One,
Figure I'd start up an SDS thread up...   I did some rough mock ups today for my SDS EM3E. I located  a good place for the crank sensor. I found there are 2 bolts on the timing cover right next to the alternator that are vacant.   One thing is the sensor magnets need to be mounted on the back side of the ALTERNATOR pulley as the PS pulley has no clearance behind it due to the crank pulley recesing into the timing cover. If you ever change the PS belt your going to need to remove the sensor.
