I would think if you went to 2.5" or 3" exhaust would help you get there.  Also I don't think you will make 250 to the wheels without fuel mods, at least a better pump.

Has anyone installed their boost gauge in the dash where the original is located? Just wondering if it will be necessary to cut and rewire the printed electrical circuit behind the boost gauge for it to fit correctly. The Autometer Boost fits the hole just fine but to long.  Also would I need to install a resistor or just leave the original wiring to the boost open/not connected?
